Christmas is a special time for everyone but it’s extra magical when you have a furry friend by your side. From excited tail wags at the sound of rustling wrapping paper, to muddy paw prints from winter walks, pets make the festive season unforgettable.
That’s why this year, we’re celebrating Christmas through the eyes of one of our lovely customers, Liv, and her rescue dog, Remmy. Because if anyone knows how to make the festive season feel warm and wag-filled, it’s this pair.
Q&A with Liv & Remmy
Q1. How do you celebrate the holiday season with your dog?
“We always celebrate surrounded by family and friends (both human and 4‑legged) and of course with Remmy’s own dog-friendly portion of a Christmas dinner.”
Q2. What’s Remmy’s favourite part of the holiday season?
“Remmy’s favourite part of the holiday season is by far the long winter walks and unwrapping all of her presents on Christmas morning. She loves wrapping paper and knows exactly which ones are hers!”
Q3. If you could give Remmy the perfect christmas gift, what would it be?
“A doggy sibling! (maybe next year…)”
Q4. Does your dog have a favourite Webbox treat or toy?
“It’s got to be the peanut butter and chicken dog‑e‑lix!”
Q5. How does your dog help spread Christmas cheer in your household?
“Remmy has a range of Christmas toys that are always spread across the house along with her own Christmas wardrobe to wear throughout the festive period! She also has her own Christmas ornament that always goes at the top of our tree.”
Q6. Are there any festive activities you and Remmy enjoy together?
“Living in London we love doing some festive walks around all the amazing light displays and always bring Remmy to go and pick out our real tree each year, which is our favourite tradition.”
Wrapping Up: Celebrate Christmas with your pets
Remmy’s festive adventures remind us why Christmas is better with pets. The joy of winter walks, the excitement of unwrapping presents, and even the little messes they leave behind, it’s all part of the magic they bring to the season.
Include your pets in the Christmas dinner, give them their own seat at the table with Christmas Dinner Pâté for dogs or Turkey Mousse for cats and let them enjoy a festive meal of their own. For a little extra treat, Try Remmy’s favourite Dog‑e‑Lix Chicken and Peanut Butter treats that are perfect as a Christmas stocking filler.
Of course, Christmas comes with temptations, chocolate, tinsel and curious noses are a risky combo. That’s why our Safety Tips for Pets at Christmas are here to help, so you can enjoy the festivities without any naughty surprises. This Christmas, celebrate the little moments, the sloppy kisses under the tree and the cosy cuddle sessions by the fire. Shop our full range of festive treats & toys and make this Christmas full of love, just the way it should be.
