This formula contains added cat grass, a natural plant fibre. Cat grass aids your cat’s digestion by gently assisting the passage of swallowed fur through the digestive tract, helping to reduce the build-up of troublesome hairballs while offering a smooth, delicious paste they love to lick.
Like the rest of our range, this recipe contains “No Nasties”—meaning it is formulated with no added sugar, artificial colours, or artificial preservatives. It is also 100% Wheat, Grain, and Gluten-Free, making it incredibly gentle for cats with common grain intolerances. The main flavour profile features meat and animal derivatives (including liver sausage) alongside beneficial cat grass derivatives.
If your cat has a strict poultry or chicken allergy, please check the ingredient deck carefully before serving. While the primary highlighted flavour is liver sausage, “Meat and Animal Derivatives” can contain mixed animal proteins, which frequently include poultry components. For cats with strict, single-source protein allergies, always cross-reference with your vet.
Because Webbox Lick-e-Lix is a complementary treat with an incredibly high natural moisture level, the analytical value for phosphorus on an as-fed basis is very minimal. It is perfectly safe as a light treat for healthy adult cats and kittens. However, if your cat is on a medically managed, strict low-phosphorus diet for advanced kidney disease, we always recommend verifying with your vet first.
Yes, absolutely! Freezing the sachets is a wonderful hack to keep your cat hydrated and cool during the summer. Simply pop the sachet into the freezer for a few hours, and you will have a refreshing, low-calorie liver sausage “ice pop” that helps them beat the heat while working to prevent hairballs.
Because cats are so cute, it’s easy to want to overfeed them! However, Lick-e-Lix is a complementary treat and should only make up a small portion of their daily diet. Each low-fat sachet contains roughly 8.5 calories. We recommend limiting treats to 1 sachet per day for kittens and smaller cats, and a maximum of 2 sachets per day for average to large adult cats.
